UK to Issue Digital Visas Starting 2025

From 2025 onward, the United Kingdom will introduce e-visas as a replacement for traditional physical biometric immigration cards. While biometrics will still be collected, there will be no issuance of physical cards or visa stickers. The e-visa will serve as the official proof of immigration status.
