Belgium Unveils New Immigration Rules for Foreign Workers

Starting May 1st, 2024, Belgium has introduced revisions to its immigration regulations pertaining to foreign workers. Engagements such as conferences, business agreements, and tourism will not necessitate a work permit. The duration of such visits will be limited to 90 days. Among other changes is that preference will be granted to Belgian and European workers over other international candidates for a range of job opportunities.
