As of April 1st, the US has increased fees for non-immigrant visas like H1B, L1, and EB5. For example, the fee for the I-129 form (used for H1B applications) has risen from US$ 460 (approx. ₹38,000) to US$ 780 (approx. ₹64,000). H1B visas allow US employers to hire skilled foreign workers, L1 visas enable intracompany transferees, and EB5 visas are for investors.
